Steve Jobs

     Steve Jobs is such an amazing genius,he dropped out of Reed College and he was put up for adoption.
Hs used to be very poor,but he finally became the CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studio. He was widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the new computer technology revolution.
He did not want to waste money and decide to drop out from school.There are mant things that we can learn from him.“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.” Sometimes we really care about the outside world and dare not try news things, but he told us to have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. His words give me the courage to do what I love.I just want to be myself and pursue my own dream.I want to ask myself if today is the last day of my life,what I am about to do today?To leave no regret,I have to follow the voice in my mind.

The presentation



This semester, our Chinese TA divides us into six groups, Each group has to make a presentation that is related to the textbook. I think this presentation makes me learn a lot of things. Because I am the team leader, I have the responsibility to remind my team members to do their parts and attend discussions. Fortunately, my team members are really nice and listen to my words.To make a presentation is not easy, one has to collect information and then digest it. Also, I often feel nervous when I have to speak in front of others, this gives me the chance to improve my expression. This presentation shows how important teamwork is, and I am glad to make more new friends.

Friends

      I  used to be a  lonely and isolated person ,umwilling to open my mind.Fortunately,I finally got over my pains and realized the  meaning of friendship.I thinks friends play important roles in our life because we share the same interests.Sometimes , a good friend can understand you more than your families and helps you when you are in need.Recently, I feel tired and stressed, my heart beats fast becaese there so many things to handle. I told  this situation to one of my friends,he comforted and told me that everything is gonna be alright.
After hearig his words ,I did not feel nervous anymore and I thought his suggestions are uesful.When we walk on the path of life, we have to face obstacles and disappointments , it is really hard to face them on our own, thus we need supports and encouragements from friends.What is more ,a friend can open your eyes and learn a lot of things.I can really feel the joy and warmth that my friend to me.

Internet Addiction

        Internet addiction is described as a kind of mental disease and disorder,I think many people do suffer from it, including myself.The Internet is surely a very useful tool,we use it to do reports and assignments as well as hand in them.I also like to use Facebook to interact and chat with my friends, if I do not check this social network one day ,I will feel restless and lack of satisfaction. Also , search engines provide so much information that you can easily get the knowledge you need.It really save a lot of time and efforts.Student rely on GOOGLE to tell them answers.Some people are addicted in playing online games , they do not feel hungry or sleepy when they are soaked in games, therefore, they ignore their families , works and studies.A few parents forgot to feed their babies and caused tragedies. A part of them live in a visual world , they cannot get in touch with the people in reality.Overusing the computer males me hard to concentrate on my textbooks and pay attention to my teachers.What is more, my head feel dizzy and  my eyes hurt when I continuouly use a computer.I think one should not waste so much time on the Internet , we have to live a balance and healthy life , thus , how to manage your time is very important.In short, to quit the habit of overusing the Internet is essential.

Chen Wei-ting

     Recently, there  is a noticeable  news which triggers towering waves, a student  from Tsinghua University called Chen Wei-ting  who dared to interrogate the minister of education .
    The media blame him on being impolite and bad mannered , then he soon became a target and was bombarded with strict criticisms.I think he is brave and probably  too emtional  when he faced the authority,but he reminded us the media are so twisted.Maybe his behavior has to be more considerate, there are a lot more problems that we should pay attention to. Chen grew up from the bottom of out society,he exactly  knows what people need and gets ro realize the corruption of our government.He concerns about many serious issues such as argriculture, rights of laborer, commercialization of education and  media monopoly.He is person with  a great vision , he said about one ot two hundred students garher together and talk about these tough topics.When the government only wants to steal money from citizens and ignore impotant issues , that will be disasaters.I think adults are conservative , they should encourage teenagers to express their  feelings and opinions.When the ruling party and oppisite party bring Taiwan to the edge of pain and despair,a young generation rises and find the stage, they try to lead  our futute , they should not be oppressed and  scolded.We need someone who is brave and  wise  enough to lead us from darkness into the light.

The concert

      Last Friday, I went to  Zhongshan Hall  to attend a concert.The musician is Teo Gheorghiu who is a very famous pianist in the world.In addtion to his skill as a pianist ,Teo is also a talented actor.In 2006,he starred in title role of the movie.VITUS.Telling the story of a young piano prodigy,the film has recieved numerous awards and as a result Teo has performed at many important occasions.what's more, he is a keen sportsman-playing football with almost as much energy and passion as he does the piano.I and my seniors spent three hundred and sixty NT dollars taking the taxi to our destination,I thought it was a little bit expensive.It was raining that day , but we were still in a good mood.I enjoy the music throughout the concert .Teo uses a delicate and elegant way to perform and express his feeling.He regards music as a positive experience and an international language ,learning music can open our eyes. Everyons likes different kinds of music thus enriching our lives.

A nice trip

       Last saturday , I went to three interesting places . At first , we were worried about rain. Fortunately , it did not rain much that day.There were fourteen people in our group ,and we rode motorcycles to the destinations.
       Our first stop was Taichung County Gaomei Wildlife Refuge(Gaomei Wetland),it has special soils mixed with mud and sand. Ecology here breeds diversified organisms of both plants and animals. Research shows that animals here include birds, fishes, crabs and invertebrates.Everyone seemed to become children when playing with sand and water ,we chatted happily all the day , I felt really pleasant to be with those friends.
       Then we headed to Seaport Art Center, it is a really interesting place. We appreciated many exhibitions that show edgy and modern art.The outside are courtyards , there are some trees ,flowers ,waterfalls as well as classic architectures.They are so beautiful that I was intoxicated with the scenery.The last stop was Feng-Jia night market, which is the most famous and visited night market in Taichung.This place is a paradise for those who enjoy delicous and cheap cuisine.I did not eat much because I care about my weight, but my companions ate some tasty snacks and they shared with me.Also we found a lot of low-priced clothes and shoes.
       This was a very joyful experience, I cherish every moment and keep this memory in my mind.
